Mid June favourites...!

Id just like to share with you some things that I have been absolutely loving this month so far...

This is the Benefit light brow shaping kit! This Is a product that I've had for about a  year now. I have been experimenting with other ways to achieve the look I want but always seem to come back to this one. I use the lighter colour as it comes off quite a bit darker than it appears in the pallet but not too dark that I look like a drag queen (you know what I mean girls). It has a creamy yet powdery contistency and applies to my brows like silk. Now this product is slightly higher in the price range but it is deffinetly worth it if your willing to flash some cash! 

This product is also benefit girl meets pearl... This is not something I bought, it's a miniature I got free when buying my benefit hello flawless foundation. I didn't really know what it was at first but when I applied it to my face about 2 weeks ago I had never felt anything so heavenly before! It's creamy consistency combined with shimmery finishing effect qualify this product as adeffinate winner and I will be nipping to debenhams to pick a full size one up as soon as I get the chance!

This product is from topshops beauty range which I am absolutely loving everything in at the moment! It's the highlighter in the shade crescent moon...

I have tried quite a lot of drugstore highlighters before and never really liked them but this one is just heavenly! The consistency is absolutely beautiful and the finished effect is shimmery without looking over the top! This product really has impressed me!!!!

Now this product might just be the most important! I cannot stress enough how important it Is to keep your skin fealling hydrated and moisturised! And I can't lie I'm the worst for keeping on top of my skin! Let's face it girls we only have one skin ( I'm not sure if that makes sense) so we might aswell try to make it last by looking after it! This body butter from topshop has the best smell ever! It's creamy consistency takes to skin like silk!

It's is quite cheep aswell and deffinetly worth investing in!!!

Now there are sooooo sooooo many things that I love but if I mentioned all of them we'd be here untill Christmas so thats it for my favorites...!!

PROM!!!!!!

Prom! 

I know this probably won't be relevant for most of you reading this as prom only comes around once in a life time (literaly) but this may be interesting to those of you who havnt yet experienced every amazing detail of prom...

Yes...I know the concept of prom can be kind of superficial but that's only due to the stereotypes gathered over the years.... Prom should be about putting aside differences and coming together as one for the last celebration before every one carries on with their lives. And ladies you'll know what I'm taking about. A huge part of prom is feeling amaising in that perfect dress that you put sooooo much effort into choosing just to make sure it's the right one! (Again not meaning to be superficial) 

This year I am absolutely loving golds and bronses and I think in they are the perfect coloures to choose this summer to make your dress stand out above the rest!

I am absolutely in love with this dress! The delicate beading yet simple style portrays a perfect holywood elegance. Personally I think this dress is beautiful!

A sneak peak to my bedroom...

The way that someone decorates their bedroom can be extremely personal, so for someone to see anothers room is almost like revealing revealing a secret.... 

Of course I'm not going to share all of my room with you but I am going to reveal some parts of my room to give you and insight to who I am....

Summer beach waves!!

I don't know about you ladies but tousled beach waves are incredibly irresistible this summer! I have been somewhat bored and unsatisfied with my hair recently as I feel it always looks the same...

 So I have been on the hunt to find the perfect summer hairstyle that I can achieve with my hair type. I say this because my weird locks are neither thick of thin... (Let me explain) Until about a year ago I always thought of myself  as having pretty thin hair but when I was at the hair dressers for my regular trim my hair dresser said to me "you have such beautiful thick hair" so naturally I was like Hugh...Have you even seen my hair!!! She then went on to explain herself and basically I do have fine hair just sooooo much of it that it can appear to be thick....

But anyway il get straight to the point of this post instead of rambling on about my awkward hair type... So on my hunt I was looking at lots of images of celebrities hairstyles on the internet and one thing that kept standing out to me was messy beach waves. This hairstyle had never really occurred to me before as I am usually one of those girls that either curls or straightens their hair every day ( I don't usually straighten my hair as it's pretty straight anyway and I despise it natural) and if I'm having a bad hair day it goes in a knot on top of my head where I don't have to think about it hahaha.... So yeh the whole concept of it not all being either curly of straight never came to mind. Don't get me wrong my hair is never perfectly neat and iv always liked the idea of this hairstyle but the thought of  it not all being even or bits falling out would kind if had stressed me out at school.

Ashley Benson Manages to pull of this look so well. She can definitely qualify as beach ready!
Now if your feeling down or bored with your hair and think  that this hairstyle  isn't for your hair type I have something to motivate you!

How I achieved this look:
-I washed my hair with the VO5  smoothly does it shampoo and conditioner
-after towel drying my hair upside down for 5 minutes (this gives volume) I used a wide tooth comb to untangle any knots. 
-I then crunched the VO5 moose all through my hair
-next I dried my hair with a diffuser doing most of the work in one step 
-Once all my hair was dried I used a curbing iron going through my hair and curling random pieces 
If I can create these beautiful summer tousles I'm pretty sure that you can! And if this style doesn't work for yo seriously don't worry. I know exactly how you feel having hair that doesn't do what you want...
Just keep at it and try different hair products that will suite your hair type. You WILL find the right kind of styles for you !
